Three plans. Pick how much of your home we look after.

On an annual or 3-year membership, every plan includes two maintenance visits — a full cleaning, inspection, and written report before cooling season and again before heating season. The tiers differ in how much you save on everything else, and whether we’re looking after the electrical side too.

What we do when we’re there

A tune-up should take over an hour. Here’s the work.

Spring — before cooling season

  • Evaporator coil cleaned in place
  • Condenser coil cleaned, debris cleared from the unit
  • Drain line cleared, flushed, and tested; pan cleaned and treated
  • Safety float switch tested
  • Filter replaced and dated
  • Refrigerant pressures, superheat and subcooling checked against spec
  • Compressor and fan motor amp draws recorded
  • Capacitor tested, contactor inspected
  • Electrical connections inspected and tightened
  • Blower wheel and motor inspected
  • Thermostat operation verified
  • Supply and return temperature split measured
  • Cabinet and pad cleaned, rust treated

Fall — before heating season

  • Everything in the spring visit, plus:
  • Heat pump: reversing valve, defrost cycle, auxiliary heat
  • Strip heat: sequencer operation, element amp draws
  • Gas furnace: heat exchanger inspection, flame sensor cleaned, combustion and CO test, venting checked
  • Emergency heat verified
Every reading gets written down and checked against what the manufacturer says it should be. You get a written report — what’s fine, what to watch, and what needs attention with a price on it. Nothing gets told to you verbally at the door and then forgotten.

Here’s the math, without the padding

Most maintenance plans advertise “$1,500 in member benefits” by pricing services nobody would ever buy on their own. We’d rather just show you our prices.

Costs as a Signature member compared with no plan
You pay as an annual Signature memberYou pay without a plan
Two maintenance visitsIncluded$129 each — $258

Signature costs $240 a year. If all you ever do is use the two visits, you’re about even. The plan pays off the first time something needs fixing — and in Jacksonville, on a system over five years old, something usually does.

On a 6-month membership: one maintenance visit, 0% / 5% off repairs (Essential / Signature), and no Loyalty Credit, free drain unclog, or waived diagnostic fee. Total Home is available on 1- and 3-year memberships only.

One membership. Both trades. Both crews are ours.

Most maintenance plans in Jacksonville stop at the air conditioner. The bigger companies bundle in plumbing and electrical, but the work goes to whichever division has a truck free.

We run A/C and electrical out of the same shop. On the Total Home plan, the electrician who checks your panel works for the same company as the tech who cleans your coil — and they talk to each other. When a condenser is drawing high amps because of a loose lug at the disconnect, that gets found and fixed, not diagnosed twice by two companies who each blame the other.

  • Both licensed, both in-house

Licensed A/C (RM14017040) and electrical (ER13015545) under one roof. Not a referral network.

  • One number to call

Jackie will get you taken care of for A/C or electrical.

  • We see the whole picture

Half of what looks like an AC problem is an electrical problem. We check both.

When a plan makes sense — and when it doesn’t

We’d rather you skip this than buy it and feel sold to. Here’s our honest read.

A plan is probably worth it if:

  • Your system is more than 5 years old. Wear items — capacitors, contactors, motors — start failing in years 6–12. That’s exactly when the discount and the waived fees earn their keep.
  • You want the manufacturer warranty to hold up. Most manufacturers require documented annual maintenance. If you can’t produce records, a failure the manufacturer would have paid for can become your bill. We keep the paperwork for you.
  • You’ve been putting it off. The honest reason most people buy a plan is that it makes maintenance happen without them having to remember. That’s a legitimate reason.
  • Your drain line clogs. In Jacksonville humidity, this is the single most common no-cool call we get, and it’s almost entirely preventable.
  • You’d rather not be surprised. A set membership price instead of a $400 call you didn’t plan for.
  • You have two systems. The second-system discount makes the math clearly favorable.

You might want to skip it if:

  • Your system is under 3 years old and still under full parts-and-labor warranty. You’ll still want the annual maintenance to keep that warranty valid — but Essential is plenty. Don’t buy Total Home for a new system.
  • You’re selling within a year. The membership does transfer to the buyer, which is a nice thing to hand over — but if you want the savings yourself, the timing’s wrong.
  • You’re comfortable doing basic upkeep. If you change your own filters and flush the drain line seasonally, you’re already handling a real share of it. Book a single tune-up instead — $129, no commitment.
  • Your system is 18+ years old and you’re planning to replace it. Put the money toward the new system. Ask us for a replacement quote instead and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’ll make it another season.
  • You expect it to pay for repairs. It doesn’t. This is maintenance, discounts, and priority access — not a warranty or insurance. Anyone selling you a “plan” that implies otherwise is being loose with the word.

Not sure? Call us at (904) 643-2218 and describe your system. We’ll tell you which tier fits.

How it works

  1. Pick a plan

Online or over the phone. Takes about five minutes. No inspection required to sign up.

  2. We schedule your first visit

We call you — you don’t have to remember. Usually within two weeks of signing up.

  3. Spring and fall, every year

We reach out ahead of each season and find a window that works. Full service and a written report.

  4. In between, you’re a member

Priority scheduling and member pricing on every call — and on Signature and Total Home, no after-hours surcharge. Annual and 3-year members on those plans also build credit toward their next system.

Questions people ask before joining

What does a maintenance plan cost?

Plans are prepaid for 6 months, a year, or 3 years, per system. Essential is $84 for 6 months, $144 a year, or $360 for 3 years; Signature is $132 for 6 months, $240 a year, or $648 for 3 years; Total Home is $408 a year or $1,152 for 3 years (no 6-month option). The longer the term, the less you pay — as low as $10 a month (Essential, prepaid for 3 years).

How many visits do I get?

Two per year on annual and 3-year memberships — one before cooling season and one before heating season. In Florida the spring visit does the heavy lifting, but the fall visit is what catches heat pump and strip heat problems before the first cold snap, when everyone calls at once. A 6-month membership includes one visit.

What’s included in each visit?

A full cleaning and inspection: coils cleaned, drain line cleared and flushed, filter replaced, refrigerant levels checked against spec, amp draws and capacitor readings recorded, electrical connections tightened, thermostat and airflow verified. You get a written report with every reading in it.

Does the plan cover repairs?

No. The membership includes maintenance, discounts on repairs (up to 15%, depending on your plan and term), waived fees, and priority scheduling. Parts and repairs are billed separately at your member rate. We’d rather be clear about that up front than have you find out during a breakdown.

Do I need a plan for every system?

Each membership starts with one system. On Signature or Total Home, a second system at the same address is $144 to $180 a year depending on the plan (half that for a 6-month term) — because we’re already there. Essential is for a single system.

Will my price go up?

Not during a term you’ve paid for — your price is locked for the whole 6 months, year, or 3 years. When a term renews, it renews at our published price at that time.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Every membership is paid up front, so if you cancel we refund the unused balance, less the regular price of the visits and discounts you’ve already used. Memberships renew automatically for another term of the same length, so cancel before the current term ends if you don’t want it to.

What if I sell my house?

The membership transfers to the new owner at no charge. It’s a reasonable thing to include in a sale, and it means the next owner has someone who already knows the system.

Do you service every brand?

Yes — every residential brand sold in Jacksonville, regardless of who installed it. You don’t have to have bought the system from us.

Do you do electrical too?

Yes, in-house, with our own licensed electricians. On an annual or 3-year membership, the Total Home plan includes a whole-home electrical safety inspection every year and 15% off electrical work. It’s the part of the membership no A/C-only company in town can match.

The full cancellation, refund, and transfer details are in the membership terms.
